Birth of the World is the design practice of Chris Rypkema, working across visual identity, print, and motion with artists, brands, and cultural institutions. Chris teaches at Rutgers University and has served as a visiting critic at Columbia, MIT, RISD, and Bard. Previously, he was an art director at the Museum of Modern Art and a designer at 2×4. He holds an MFA from the Yale School of Art.
